Concordia Wisconsin's Brian Tresedder has been named the 2012 Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Year and headlined the 2012 All-Northern Athletics Conference Men's Tennis Team.
Tresedder won the NAC Individual Tournament earlier this month and compiled an 18-11 overall record at No. 1 singles for the NAC Champions Falcons (14-11, 9-0 NAC). He was 6-2 in conference play in singles action, while 6-1 in doubles play (16-11 overall).
Wisconsin Lutheran's Lee Johnson, also a member of the All-NAC team, was honored as Freshman of the Year. Johnson was 8-1 in conference action at the top singles spot for the Warriors (2-8, 2-7 NAC) and was 10-3 overall as he reached the semifinals of the NAC Individual Tournament.
Edgewood's Ben Oestreich was voted as NAC Coach of the Year by his peers. Oestreich guided the Eagles (9-19, 7-2 NAC) their highest finish in the NAC (third) and to the conference tournament semifinals after reinstating the program just two seasons ago.
