VOLLEYBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Roger Williams University sophomore middle hitter Krystie Luczynski (Kensington, Conn.) averaged 4.8 kills, 1.6 digs, and 1.2 blocks per set and hit .615 in a pair of road league victories for the Hawks, which extended their win streak to 14 matches. Luczynski opened the week with seven kills and hit .875 in a 3-0 victory over Wentworth. In a four-set win over Endicott, she had 17 kills with no errors for a hitting percentage of .548. She also added six total blocks, including five solo blocks.
LIBERO OF THE WEEK – Salve Regina University junior Megan Clancy (Chelmsford, Mass.) lifted the Seahawks to a perfect 3-0 week. She averaged an impressive 7.88 digs per set without a single reception error. Clancy recorded 63 digs in just two matches, including 28 in just three sets versus Emerson.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Curry College freshman outside hitter Courtney DiBiasio (Coventry, R.I.) posted impressive individual numbers in a 1-2 week for the Colonels. She posted double-doubles in each of the team’s three matches last week, and averaged 4.55 kills and 4.64 digs per set, and posted a hitting percentage of .282. DiBiasio’s best performance came in a 3-1 victory over Anna Maria, in which she recorded 20 kills and 22 digs.

FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Gordon College senior Allison Lynch (Holliston, Mass.) finished 9th in a field of 191 runners at the Western New England Invitational. Her 5K time of 20:19 helped the Fighting Scots place 5th out of 19 teams.
FEMALE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Roger Williams University freshman Jamie Wandzilak (Wantagh, N.Y.) placed 13th out of 191 runners with a 5K time of 20:31. Roger Williams collected 101 points to finish fourth among 19 teams at the Western New England Invitational.
MALE RUNNER AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Roger Williams University freshman Kevin Terbush (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) finished 5th in a field of 177 runners in the Western New England Invitational. His 8K time of 27:15 helped the Hawks post 97 points to place third out of 16 teams.
FIELD HOCKEY
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Endicott College junior forward Melissa Enright (York Beach, Maine) had a stick in six of the Gulls’ 12 goals in a 2-1 week for the team. She opened the week with a stunning performance, posting a hat trick in a 4-1 road victory over league rival Gordon. Enright tallied her fourth goal of the week in a tough 5-3 road loss to non-conference opponent Bridgewater State. She continued to be a key offensive player scoring a pair of goals in a matchup with CCC foe #19 University of New England, in which the Gulls handed UNE its first loss of the season with a shutout triumph of 5-0.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Endicott College junior goalkeeper Taylor Teixeira (Exeter, N.H) helped the Gulls to a 2-1 week, including a pair of conference wins. In 195:40 minutes of play Teixeira turned away 17 shots and posted a goals against average of 2.30. Her most impressive performance of the week came in a 5-0 shutout of conference rival #19 University of New England to hand the Nor’easters their first loss of the season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Nichols College freshman forward Avery Orszulak (Springfield, Mass.) collected seven points in a 2-0 week for the Bison. She recorded her first career hat trick in a 5-2 CCC victory over Salve Regina, and added an assist to have a stick in four of the five goals for the Bison.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Nichols College senior midfielder Maria DiTommaso (Rindge, N.H.) collected a pair of goals on the week for the Bison. In a CCC contest against league-leading Salve Regina, DiTommaso netted the equalizing goal in the 65th minute, which allowed the Bison to post a 1-1 tie. In a 6-0 victory over Bay Path, DiTommaso added her second goal of the week, for her third goal in as many games.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Gordon College sophomore goalkeeper Kari Christensen (Standish, Maine) was a key factor in the Fighting Scots 2-0 shutout week. Christensen turned away seven shots in a 1-0 victory over non-conference opponent Plymouth State. Christensen also recorded five saves against CCC rival Eastern Nazarene, closing out the week with an impressive 0.00 goals against average.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - University of New England freshman forward Marlie Mochamer (Farmington, Maine) was an important factor in the Nor’easters quest to stay undefeated in CCC play. In a 1-0 win over CCC foe Salve Regina, Mochamer netted a goal just before halftime, which turned out to be the game-winner. The win over the Seahawks has allowed the Nor’easters to remain at the top of the conference standings heading into the last week of the regular season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Endicott College sophomore midfielder Bobby Durben (Stow, Mass.) helped the Gulls to a 2-0 week. He scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Nichols with less than one second remaining on the clock. The tally was his first of the season and helped lengthen the Gulls’ unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1).
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Western New England senior midfielder Shawn Fitzpatrick (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) helped the Golden Bears improve to 7-0 in conference play with a pair of conference victories. He netted a goal in a 2-0 triumph over regional power Roger Williams.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Wentworth Institute of Technology junior goalkeeper John Longo (Needham, Mass.) helped the Leopards run their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) by allowing just one goal in two games. In a 1-0 shutout win over CCC foe Curry, he made four saves. Longo closed out the week turning back eight shots in a 1-1 double overtime tie against regionally ranked Roger Williams.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Endicott College freshman goalkeeper Aaron Kanter (Medfield, Mass.) blanked opponents in a 2-0 week for the Gulls to record his fifth and sixth shutouts of the season. In a 5-0 victory over CCC foe Eastern Nazarene he made four saves, and went on to stop five more in a 1-0 triumph over conference rival Nichols.
