NAC Volleyball Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Melissa Lail, Maine
Maritime
(So, MH - Elizabeth, Colo.)
Lail led the Mariners offense with 28 kills and eight service aces
in a 2-1 week. She also recorded a pair of blocks and 34 digs as
MMA piled up its 14th and 15th 3-0 sweeps of the season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Marina Tello,
Me.-Farmington
(Fr, LB - San Antonio, Texas)
Tello helped the Beavers to a 4-0 week with wins over USM, UMPI,
UMFK and Lyndon. The freshman registered 11 digs vs. Lyndon and
seven kills vs. UMPI. On the week Tello posted 17 kills, 32 digs
and 14 aces.
