Defending national champion Salisbury is at the top of one side of the bracket, and fellow unbeaten Cortland State sits atop the other side as the 2012 Division III men's lacrosse tournament field of 28 was unveiled on Sunday night.

Cortland State (18-0), under sixth-year head coach Steve Beville, is undefeated entering the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history. The Red Dragons are making their 12th straight NCAA tournament appearance and 28th overall, including 21 on the Division III level. They have a first-round bye and await the winner of Stevens and Springfield. Salisbury (19-0), also has a first-round bye and will face either Washington College or Goucher.

For Birmingham-Southern, it's the first trip to the tournament. The program, in its fourth season, became eligible this year for the first time after the school finished its provisional membership in Division III. The Panthers' reward is a trip to Stevenson to face the fourth-ranked Mustangs.

No. 13 Dickinson won its second consecutive Centennial Conference men's lacrosse tite on Sunday, winning 11-6 at No. 18 Washington College. Both teams qualified for the tournament, with Dickinson hosting Kenyon and Washington College hosting Goucher.
