Keuka (1-0), which captured the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) postseason title in 2011 for the second time in three seasons, jumped all over Shenandoah early and led 3-0 after the first quarter, and 8-1 at halftime.

The Storm blanked Shenandoah 3-0 in the third and coasted to its 10th win in 11 games dating back to last season.

Freshman Eric Saltrelli (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) stopped 8 of 9 first-half shots and finished with nine saves in his first-career start in net. An aggressive Storm defense limited Shenandoah (0-4) to just three first-quarter shots.

Luppino scored the first goal of his career, and the first of the 2012 season, with 8:02 remaining in the first quarter, and 42 seconds later, Marcello scored off a feed from Crumlish for a 2-0 lead.

Marcello made it 3-0 on a short-handed goal off an assist from Miller.

Redington scored back-to-back goals early in the second quarter, Voigt scored off a feed from Redington and Pfeiffer added a power-play goal for a 7-0 Keuka lead.

Shenandoah got on the board with 1:27 left in the half, but Voigt answered with a short-handed goal with 11 seconds left in the half to cap a productive second quarter that saw Keuka score four goals on eight shots.

Crumlish, Redington and Judge all scored within a span of 5:41 in the third to push the lead to 11-1.

Sean Mack scored three goals and Bryan Pope added a goal for Shenandoah.

The Storm returns to action with a 1 p.m. road clash with RIT, the No. 7 team in the country according to the NCAA's Division III rankings, on Saturday. The Storm's home opener is at 7 p.m. versus Alfred University on March 21.
