The Centre College volleyball team ended its 2011 season with a 3-0 win over Sewanee-University of the South on day two of the 2011 SCAC Tournament, Saturday, Nov. 5 in Jackson, Miss.

The Colonels won game one 25-20, game two 25-15, and then finished game three with a 25-22 win.

Four seniors played their final match of their careers led by Stephanie Woeste's (Louisville, Ky.) 11 kills, three service aces and one block. Hannah Greer (Owensboro, Ky.) tallied 33 assists and 15 digs. Laura Hench (Lexington, Ky.) finished with seven kills and seven digs, and Evis Muhameti (Boston, Mass.) added 12 digs and one ace.

With the win, the Colonels finished the season 18-18 overall, while Sewanee finishes its season 7-24 overall. The match was the third time the two teams met this year with Centre winning all three.
