Volleyball Takes on West Coast Baptist in Home Opener

The Mills volleyball team opened the 2015-16 season at home against West Coast Baptist. Coming off a 3-2 victory over Laney College, the Cyclones fought hard against the Eagles. West Coast Baptist took the game in three hard earned sets, each featuring several long rallies and back and forth leads.

For Mills, Amber Escobar Meza led the team in both kills and digs, picking up four and ten respectively. Sophomore captain, Mirand Crothers led the Cyclones in points, finishing the game with six aces, two kills, two blocks, and a .333 kill percentage. 

Mills returns to action on Friday when they travel to UC Santa Cruz for a four-game tournament.
