Senior defender Jordan Locke and junior midfielder Topher Marshall of the Oglethorpe men's soccer team were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-America First Team on Friday, marking the first time that either has received Scholar All-America honors. It marks the second national postseason honor for Marshall this year, and the first for Locke.
Junior midfielder Topher Marshall and junior forward Ryan Marcano of the Oglethorpe men's soccer team were both named to United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-America teams Thursday night, becoming the third and fourth players in the history of the program to earn All-America honors. Marshall took home All-America Second Team accolades, marking just the second time in program history that a Stormy Petrel has earned Second Team accolades or higher, and Marcano garnered All-America Third Team honors. It serves as the first career All-America honor for both players.

The Anchormen and the Colonials each finished the regular season with identical, 5-2, league records and shared the 2017 Little East Regular Season Championship.
