Gettysburg Remains No. 2 in IWLCA Poll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team maintained the runner-up position for the second consecutive week in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Coaches Poll.
 
Salisbury University (13-0) swept all 25 first-place votes to earn the top spot with 625 total points. Gettysburg (10-1) trailed with 599 points.
 
Each of the top seven remained the same in the poll with The College of New Jersey (10-2), Amherst College (11-1), Franklin & Marshall College (11-3), Tufts University (10-2), and York (Pa.) College (9-3) filing in behind the Sea Gulls and Bullets.
 
Middlebury College (10-2), the University of Mary Washington (12-3), and Washington and Lee University (9-4) each climbed one spot to round out the top 10.
 
On the season, Gettysburg boasts wins over five members of the current top 25: No. 3 TCNJ, No. 9 Mary Washington, No. 10 Washington and Lee, No. 12 Messiah College (10-3), and No. 25 Haverford College (9-3).
 
The Bullets begin a busy week at Dickinson College on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The team then visits York on Friday at 4 p.m. before closing the week at Bryn Mawr College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
