The 23rd-ranked Hope College women's tennis team continues its hot play in sunny Florida, winning 9-0 against George Fox on Thursday at the United States Tennis Association National Training Center in Lake Nona.
The Flying Dutch won for the fifth time in a row and raised their record to 6-2 overall.
Freshman Amanda Bandrowski of Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis HS) and junior Natalie Rahrig of Fort Wayne, Indiana (Bishop Luers) both won singles matches while dropping just one game.
Bandrowski topped Ellen Pierson at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-0.
Rahrig beat Andrea Motley at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-0.
Hope closes its spring break trip on Friday, March 24 with a match against Grinnell, Iowa.
