NECC Headlines

Regis Tops NECC Women's Basketball Coaches Poll
Regis, who is playing as a member of the NECC for the first season, was chosen by the conference coaches as the favorite for the upcoming women's basketball season. The Pride, who earned 93 points and seven first place votes, return all five starters from last year's 16-12 team and will be led by senior guard Steph Crawford who enters the season with 928 points.

Becker Chosen as Favorite in NECC Men's Basketball Coaches Poll
Becker College has been chosen to finish at the top of the 2011-12 NECC Men's Basketball standings in a vote by the leagues coaches. The Hawks, who received seven first place votes and 77 points, return four starters from last season's NCAA Tournament team including NECC first teamers Rajai Leggett and Terrance Favors.
