Royals Drop Three Matches Today At Swarthmore College
SWARTHMORE, Pa.—The University of Scranton dropped all three of its matches today at Swarthmore College, losing to Richard Stockton, 3-1, Susquehanna, 3-0, and Swarthmore, 3-0, to fall to 14-14 on the season.
Junior outside hitter Jenell McFadden (Springfield, Pa./Merion Mercy Academy) and freshman outside hitter Julia Crilly (Rochester, NY/Aquinas Institute) combined for 17 of the Royals' 26 kills in the loss to Richard Stockton. Freshman libero/defensive specialist Victoria Maio (Thornwood, NY/Westlake) finished with 19 digs and junior setter Juli Woods (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) had 14 assists.
Crilly and sophomore outside hitter Michaela McCrudden (Fort Washington, Pa./Mt. St. Joseph Academy) were Scranton's best bets against Landmark Conference rival Susquehanna, combining for 14 kills and 18 digs.
