One thing we know already, and have known for some time, is that we'll have a new national champion in softball, since Pacific Lutheran didn't qualify for the field.

What we don't know is who that new champion will be.

Four regional No. 1 seeds, a No. 2, a No. 5 and a No. 8 converge on Eau Claire, Wis., this upcoming weekend to answer that final question of the 2013 Division III softball season. And Jim Dixon of D3sports.com will be on hand to cover it, so follow D3sports.com for more.

Anderson, the true Cinderella of the group, battled its way out of the regional, including two wins against Allegheny to finish it off.
