		<description>This DIII Identity Statement is well thought out and appropriate. Over the last 11 years, I have taught DIII athletes and have seen their commitment and passion. These individuals sacrifice and learn time management. They experience the &quot;College Life&quot; in a way few others do. They understand that success in their academic major will likely lead to a successful career. They understand that competing at the DIII level will provide memories for a lifetime. For most DIII athletes, they realize that their competitive sports involvement is winding down and they want to take in all they can.

I agree with you that DIII athletics is truly the highest form of amateur athletics. Well put.</description>
