		<description>Yeah, in the NCAA Tournament the committee reserves the right to advance teams in the bracket in the case games can&#039;t be played. 

This is actually true in other sports as well. Not sure if it&#039;s ever been put into play outside of baseball (and I assume at some point, softball).</description>

		<description>I recall hearing of one situation during an Eastern regional a couple of years ago in which the first 6 or 7 games were played, but then it rained hard 3 days straight. In that case the title was awarded to the top seed (Babson, if memory serves correctly.)</description>
