Looking at the recent poll for who is the best central region team, I voted for Carthage for the fact they are unbeaten. What surprised me that Concordia was even mentioned. They have 5 losses in the NAC already in danger of not even making the conference tournament unless in the eyes of the experts that the NAC is now a strong conference, which we think it is. They lost 3 of 4 last weekend. I was not impressed with their defense as Jack Walker is very over rated as a player. Yes, he can hit, but is a liability with his mitt as well as many of their regulars. Their ace pitcher didn't make it out of the 4th inning against Rockford. We will face Carthage , Augustana & Illnois Weselyn soon . Hopefully, we will be talking about Rockford cracking the polls during the week of April 21st. Hello Everyone.
