NOTES
It is really tough predicting what the NCAA committee will do when you cannot see all the criteria that they consider. Four favorites (Wooster, IL Wesleyan, UW-Oshkosh, and St. Olaf) were ousted from their conference tournaments which resulted in some lost At-Larges for other solid teams. Since Marietta went down in two and York and Methodist had poor performances this past weekend, I believe that will ultimately cost them their spots. Overall, I believe the first 9 or 10 at larges are in. Thank you for the opportunity to try this out, and lets hope for a great tournament season.

I agree
May 13th, 2007 at 11:29 pm
i got hope for rowan
May 13th, 2007 at 11:32 pm
so montclair off the radar. and ramapo in. three njac teams?
May 13th, 2007 at 11:32 pm
Looks pretty good….expect i cant see Trinity getting in when they didnt even make their league tourney
May 13th, 2007 at 11:33 pm
*except i cant see Trinity getting in
May 13th, 2007 at 11:35 pm
There are always some schools not mentioned that will get in. It happens in all NCAA sports, especially basketball. Go Rockford !
May 13th, 2007 at 11:38 pm
I have no idea what to make of Trinity (Conn.) myself. If the numbers say they’re the second best team in the NESCAC they might just get in. It’s not the NCAA’s fault the NESCAC’s tournament setup is a little screwy.
Interested to hear what Jim Dixon thinks, though.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:38 pm
Missing Ohio Wesleyan
May 13th, 2007 at 11:39 pm
How is the NESCAC’s tournament set up?
May 13th, 2007 at 11:39 pm
Dave,
We did just fine on our basketball field projection this year.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:42 pm
ohio wesleyan got an A
May 13th, 2007 at 11:44 pm
Let’s keep our fingers crossed Dave. If they would have only seen what we’ve seen the last few weeks.
B Wiest
May 13th, 2007 at 11:49 pm
Truth be told that there will be good teams that will not get in. I think it would be tough to be on the selection committee, and pick using the criteria given. Thanks for the predictions, it is fun. In the midwest I think St. Thomas should be #1, after sweeping St. Olaf and winning the MIAC. Also you could add a 7th team, (Carthage) to that, but I hate the 7 team bracket set up.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:56 pm
First off, good job. I would say that even if I thought these were the worst I’d ever seen, because it’s not very easy at all. I’m playing along at home so we’ll see if my criticisms below turn out to be valid or not. In mine, I’m basically trusting that the regional rankings will hold form where nothing significant has changed.
I will lose a lot of faith in the regional rankings if Methodist doesn’t get in and Rhodes does, because they’ve been ranked the opposite.
I really hope you’re wrong about St. John Fisher because they did not play a schedule that says regional at-large qualifier to me.
So Rhodes loses to a sub .500 team in their tournament and gets rewarded but Methodist and Marietta don’t get rewarded for their challenging schedules and conference co-championships over the full season because they lost two games to very good teams? Trinity didn’t even make their tournament and gets rewarded? Like I said, we’ll see.
There’s going to be some moving teams around but it’s almost impossible to predict which teams those will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bridgewater and Villa Julie end up in different regions though.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:57 pm
“If they would have only seen what we’ve seen the last few weeks.”
Subjective observation isn’t part of the equation. But what are the wins the last few weeks that we should be looking at? Because I spent a fair amount of time on Rockford’s schedule and results today in calculating the QOWI and it wasn’t exactly filled with wins against national contenders.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:57 pm
Yes, I know baseballcrazy…now tell me where they are in the region prediction. They’re not. Not sure if that means the math is off or if they just forgot to put them in…didn’t bother to figure that out. But they’re not there.
May 13th, 2007 at 11:58 pm
I am confused about Trinity. They get ranked but they had such a cupcake schedule. Like everyone else….waiting……
May 13th, 2007 at 11:59 pm
How come Trinity didnt make their league tourney?
May 13th, 2007 at 11:59 pm
Looks like OWU just got omitted…there are 4 6-team regionals and 4 7-team regionals. So it should be an elementary fix.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:00 am
Trinity is ranked but they’re ranked nearly at teh bottom of a region that has more teams ranked than any other. I don’t take them being ranked as much of a sign that they’re a serious consideration.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:03 am
How did trinity not make their league tourney?
May 14th, 2007 at 12:07 am
Baseball isn’t always about winning and losing Mr. Admin. It’s the heart these kids showed on the field the last few weeks knowing that they would have to pretty much win out to even come close to getting a look. I would hope you could appreciate that.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:08 am
cmon man, gimme a break!
May 14th, 2007 at 12:10 am
I think everyone can appreciate the heart and work that everyone puts in to the season, and none more so than the independent teams who know that every game matters. However, the selection committee must start somewhere…and so they use the statistics to try to equalize the picks. Also, looking at their consistency throughout the year is a big deal, rather than just a big push toward the end.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:10 am
I can say this on behalf of Rockford. If we don’t get in, at least we can say that we won our final game. That can only be said for one other team in D3 from this point on.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:11 am
To answer the question, Trinity finished third in their division of the NESCAC, and so did not qualify for the conference tournament.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:12 am
weird? Only the top two teams makde the playoffs in the NESCAC?? wow
May 14th, 2007 at 12:13 am
This is how I see the Midwest going:
1. St. Thomas
2. Oshkosh
3. Olaf
4. Stevens Point
5. Scholastica
6. Ripon
This also makes sure 2 teams from the same conference dont play each other in the opening round. Scholastica deserves a pool B bid because despite their in region QWI as 9.4 their overall QWI is 10.36
May 14th, 2007 at 12:15 am
Any team that did not qualify for the conference tournment should be taken off the board immediately.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:17 am
The NESCAC is split into two 5 team divisions, with the top 2 from each division playing a double elimination tourney for the AQ. Trinity went 8-4 and finished 3rd in their division.
What makes it weird is that only the games against their divisional teams (Tufts, Bowdoin, Colby and Bates) count in their conference schedule. Even though they still play the other five teams, those games didn’t factor in. So Trinity lost four of the six games against Tufts and Bowdoin and didn’t get in the conf tourney.
If you look at Trinity’s schedule, they really didn’t play anyone at all. Are they a good team, probably. Do they have a good history, yes (2 CWS appearances, last one in 2005) but I don’t know that they deserve to get in this year.
Just my opinion
May 14th, 2007 at 12:19 am
27-7 since the Arizona trip is consistant with any team in consideration right now.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:23 am
Wow, the NESCAC league is very weird
May 14th, 2007 at 12:24 am
St. Scholastica has gone 34-4 since the start of their southern trip and are still considered a bubble team, because it has a lot do do with who they played and the in region statistics.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:25 am
Neither of the teams that finished ahead of Trinity will even sniff the tournament, and got swept out of the tournament by the other division. Combine all this with Trinity’s weak non-conference schedule and I don’t see anything to point to and say “this is why they should be in” other than they’re 28-6. That hasn’t been enough to put them in the top half of the regional rankings to this point and I don’t think it will be enough today.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:25 am
any chance of seeing John Jay (winner of the CUNYAC getting into the New York region?
May 14th, 2007 at 12:33 am
RC17:
There are 360 teams. Lots of teams have heart. Heart is not one of the selection criteria, however.
And Dave Smith — 27-7 against whom?
May 14th, 2007 at 12:33 am
“Wow, the NESCAC league is very weird”
Baseball19: A sentiment often echoed around our sites.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:37 am
What national contenders did Trinity beat Mr. admin?????
May 14th, 2007 at 12:40 am
“Lots of teams have heart. Heart is not one of the selection criteria, however.”
Wow, I love the sarcasm also! Very becoming.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:44 am
John Jay has no chance of getting in….they might be in the weakest league in the country
May 14th, 2007 at 12:50 am
John Jay is terrible
May 14th, 2007 at 12:52 am
i agree St John Fisher played a pretty easy schedule….but they are ranked pretty high in the NY region rankings…..only other teams to maybe consider would be Oneonta who Fisher just beat today…..or Brockport who has a bad overall record 24-15 but 2 wins vs Cortland and 2 wins vs Fisher
May 14th, 2007 at 12:53 am
I agree John Jay was hammered when they played anyone decent….im talking 23-2 scores
May 14th, 2007 at 12:53 am
RC — am I arguing for Trinity? I didn’t see where I was. Let me know.
May 14th, 2007 at 12:53 am
Here are my final picks. I have guessed at the number 1 seeds and have posted my bubble teams, by region. I have been away from my computer on this Mother’s Day, so I am not as sure as if I had some more data, especially all of the QOWI’s. Rockford is my “reach” over Marietta and Millsaps/Rhodes. I usually average about 85% on picking at larges, so 17 out of 20 will be about the usual for me.

I think you might see St Lawrence sneek into the New York regional
May 14th, 2007 at 1:00 am
Oneonta,Brockport,Rit, even RPI all would be in before St Lawrence
May 14th, 2007 at 1:05 am
At 21-14 St Lawrence doesn’t have a prayer
May 14th, 2007 at 1:08 am
If you werent ranked in the last region rankings on Thursday you pretty much have no chace of getting in
May 14th, 2007 at 1:08 am
St. Lawrence smacked RPI around (3-2vs them with all 5 games at RPI) and finished 2nd in the league tourney
May 14th, 2007 at 1:10 am
You’re the only person here giving St Lawrence consideration…either you’re drunk or you’re on St. Lawrence
May 14th, 2007 at 1:11 am

Baseball19…..St Lawrence has no shot of getting in they are not even ranked in the NY region….one of weakest region
May 14th, 2007 at 1:14 am
Alright. Not even some consideration???
May 14th, 2007 at 1:16 am
Spence Id have to say your pretty close…..if not right on maybe a few teams in different regions than you have them
May 14th, 2007 at 1:18 am
What about Brockport? They beat Cortland twice…
May 14th, 2007 at 1:18 am
frozenrope: Who will go to which regions is anyone’s guess. The last few years it seems they’ve tried to balance out the regions talent-wise and made some moves for that reason, even to the point of sending teams more than 500 miles.
I just tried to make some reasonable guesses…I don’t really have much confidence in that part of it.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:20 am
crazy, I really don’t think that I do. I feel weak about my assessing the New York and the New England Regions.
I think that they may be “top heavy” with Cortland and the LEC (ECSU and KSC) and so I don’t know how mich their head-to-head pulls other teams.
Having looked at Spence’s, I think that his pulling Millsaps and Marietta looks very good versus my Rockford and St Scholastica.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:22 am
Understandable then, it really is anyones guess
May 14th, 2007 at 1:23 am
Ralph, I feel squeamish about not having St. Scholastica in. But they were ranked 5th in the last region rankings, behind UW-Stevens Point. So I ask myself if before the WIAC tournament UWSP was a regional team. My answer is maybe, maybe not. So based on that, I made the call.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:24 am
I cant believe there is actually a Selection Sunday for D3 baseball! haha
May 14th, 2007 at 1:26 am
Looks like St. John Fisher is not in…. they have already been selected into the ECACs!!!! Along with Oswego, RIT, and Oneonta. It’s on the ECAC website
May 14th, 2007 at 1:27 am
you can always optout of ecacs
May 14th, 2007 at 1:28 am
The ECACs have already been played St. John Fisher won.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:28 am
Yea, the ECAC selected them….doesnt mean they wont make the tournament
May 14th, 2007 at 1:29 am
I didn’t realize that!
May 14th, 2007 at 1:29 am
haha, thanks KLEIN. By the way, are you Tim Klein, the pitcher on the front page??
May 14th, 2007 at 1:30 am
hahaha no
May 14th, 2007 at 1:30 am
I agree the NY region may be top heavy….Cortland is as good as anyone in the country, Ithaca has had a off year on their standards but still play Chapman and Kean tough out in California this March. Brockport has given Cortland 2 of their loses (35-4) also beat Marietta and Keene St…..but have a terrible record at 24-15.
In the New England…..ECSU is a good as they come, and don’t underestimate the Wheaton club who was runner up a year ago….they played a tough schedule out in Arizona and have been tested to make a deep run
May 14th, 2007 at 1:31 am
I dont believe you
May 14th, 2007 at 1:31 am
You don’t have to believe me…i’m not Tim Klein…I’d kill myself if i were
May 14th, 2007 at 1:31 am
KLEIN! are you Tim Klein?!
May 14th, 2007 at 1:32 am
So I was feeling a little crazy and did the math — I got a 9.233 for Trinity (Conn.)’s QOWI.
I don’t think they get in, officially.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:32 am
I hear you, man. That ERA is purty bad
May 14th, 2007 at 1:32 am
Baseball19 are you a member of St. Lawrence?
May 14th, 2007 at 1:33 am
admin: So any QOWI under 10 and it doesnt look good, correct?
May 14th, 2007 at 1:33 am
baseball4: I might be
May 14th, 2007 at 1:35 am
admin..what QOWI do you have for St. Scholastica?
May 14th, 2007 at 1:35 am
Don’t know enough about baseball specifically to say if that’s true or not. I’ve seen discussion that the floor is more like 9.5, I think. But without calculating all of them we won’t really know.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:36 am
Baseball19 did you play in the game today
May 14th, 2007 at 1:37 am
baseball4: Perhaps
May 14th, 2007 at 1:38 am
Baseball19 did you have a hit today
May 14th, 2007 at 1:39 am
baseball4: haha lets not play the narrow it down game
May 14th, 2007 at 1:41 am
So did you really think that St. Lawrence was going to have a chance or were you just trying to get a rise out of the board?
If the answer is the latter, well done.
May 14th, 2007 at 1:42 am
Baseball19 last question
does your name start with an e and rhyme with ngebretson
May 14th, 2007 at 1:43 am
Well I figured we’d at least have a chance but I guess not, oh well
May 14th, 2007 at 1:44 am
haha Engebretson > Calzone
May 14th, 2007 at 1:46 am
so what team do you fellas play for?
May 14th, 2007 at 1:47 am
Saint Lawrence (3-2 vs RPI on the season)
May 14th, 2007 at 1:53 am
yarnold = seperated shoulder
May 14th, 2007 at 1:54 am
hahahaha
May 14th, 2007 at 1:55 am
they should start a d3 chat room for aol
May 14th, 2007 at 1:55 am
They should because they message boards are uglier than Tim Klein on a good day

He’s so ugly, he’s almost cute
May 14th, 2007 at 1:59 am

Bust that apple!!!
May 14th, 2007 at 2:00 am
Come one I need to go to bed. KLEIN KLEIN KLEIN
May 14th, 2007 at 2:01 am
spence-which teams do you follow?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:03 am
why do they have to wait till 2 to post these things anyway
May 14th, 2007 at 2:05 am
Come on
May 14th, 2007 at 2:06 am
Marietta is the team I support and identify myself as a part of. As for which teams I follow…um…I follow all of it, I guess. I’ve lived in the south most of my post-Marietta life, but I’ve been to several Series in varying capacities; fan, participant (not a player though), journalist, freelance.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:06 am
i guess 8am like i said
May 14th, 2007 at 2:10 am
crazy: The NCAA confirmed 2 a.m. was their target. You can sleep if you want.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:11 am
And yes — nothing ever comes out right on time. Someone’s probably typing a press release.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:12 am
did they confirm any bids lol
May 14th, 2007 at 2:12 am
D-II was a scant 7 hours late. Hopefully it’s not that way for D-III.
That said, I’m not staying up too much past 2.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:13 am
yea its always later
May 14th, 2007 at 2:13 am
Although Marietta will not make the tourney, considering im sitting at home and not on campus, you think they should have? Had a lot of quality wins, had some rough loss’s, but how do you compare them toteams who havea better record but no good wins(Wash and Jeff)?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:13 am
midwest region is set.
oshkosh, ripon, st. olaf, st. thomas, stevens point, St. Scholastica
May 14th, 2007 at 2:13 am

2. St. Thomas
3. Ripon

May 14th, 2007 at 2:15 am

May 14th, 2007 at 2:16 am
My crystal ball
May 14th, 2007 at 2:17 am
lol
May 14th, 2007 at 2:19 am
OK, the Scholastica guys apparently got a call from someone.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:19 am
oh, and the midwest regional will be in wisconsin rapids, wi also.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:19 am
Please tell me Brockport has made it in over Oneonta or Fisher in the New York Region. The New York Region last regional rankings have been confusing. How can St. John Fisher be so high? They have not played anyone all year long. When they have they got beat. They are the Syracuse Orangemen basketball of the New York Region.
Oneonta and Brockport are both very good baseball teams and programs led by coaches that continually assemble quality years. I do think that Brockport has the edge. They beat Jimmy Dougher from Cortland. That is his only loss compared to 8 or 9 wins on the season and he has pitched against the best teams in the nation they have played. He will probably be one of the highest pitchers to go in the draft out of division three. My perspective says make the regionals competitive and interesting. I think the last team that Cortland would like to see in the tournament would be Brockport. Brockport has given them a run for there money as of late the past couple years.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:20 am
Well at least I got something right in the Midwest: the site lol
May 14th, 2007 at 2:21 am
Anything about the mid-east region? Bust that apple?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:21 am
I know Villa Julie opens up against Salisbury in Ferrum. I just got the call. That makes VJC #7, Salisbury #2, which means Emory is probably #1
May 14th, 2007 at 2:23 am
i was just trying to pass along the info i had for the good of room. best of luck to all our teams
May 14th, 2007 at 2:25 am
Someone on the d3sports board says that Chapman is the host in the West Region.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:26 am
That never happens.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:27 am
Nope, never. Wouldn’t they have to fly an extra team if they did that?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:30 am
Guess it depends partially on who’s in.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:31 am
I suppose. It would be shocking if UT Dallas was out though, wouldn’t it?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:36 am
where do they post the bracket first? is it on ncaa? or will you just get a copy from the board?
May 14th, 2007 at 2:41 am
We’ll get a copy from the selection committee and post it asap.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:43 am
Thats cool. I appreciate all your work for this, I love the site.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:44 am
atleast 6/53 can go to sleep lol
May 14th, 2007 at 2:44 am
Thanks. It’s really all Jim Dixon, though — I just lend a hand on big days when it comes to baseball.

May 14th, 2007 at 2:52 am
best of luck to you, i know there was a lot of talk about them on here the last few days.
May 14th, 2007 at 2:54 am
st. scholastica
May 14th, 2007 at 3:03 am
Any hints that selections might be coming soon? It’s really getting to where I need to go to bed…though Family Guy is on, so that might keep me holding on a bit longer.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:04 am
why do they say 2 am…..they should just say 7am so we dont have to stay up and wait
May 14th, 2007 at 3:04 am
We have it. It’s going up.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:06 am
Glad I asked
It’s still Sunday on JDT (Jim Dixon Time).
May 14th, 2007 at 3:09 am
You’re saving the Mideast just to torture me, aren’t you?
May 14th, 2007 at 3:10 am
YES! If anyone went home, bring ‘em back! We’re in baby!
May 14th, 2007 at 3:12 am
New York looks like a bomb went off in it, again. 3 teams I don’t think even should have been in all in the same region. Cortland State’s probably already calling the Paper Valley Hotel to get the primo room choice.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:13 am
admin-any chance they said who got the pool B bids and who got the pool C bids? or an order of the teams?
May 14th, 2007 at 3:13 am
Spence, sorry — I put Marietta’s name on the front page but guess JD left them till last on the bracket page.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:15 am
It’s OK…when I loaded the page there were only 5 regions up…if it had been intentional, I woudl have had to say it was pretty funny.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:15 am
Looks like Ralph, Dixon and I all need to get together with our brackets…together I think the three of us had everything, just not in the same bracket!
May 14th, 2007 at 3:18 am
Btw, looks like no one was shipped to a different region that didn’t have to be. Maybe they blew the budget on sending the West region to Chapman.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:18 am
I think you all did a great job…it will be interesting to see who were the last teams in and out, and who you guys thought were in but didnt make it.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:23 am
Are you sure Marietta is in???????????
May 14th, 2007 at 3:23 am
I feel terrible for Washington & Jefferson. I thought they were a Pool B, never dreamed they wouldn’t be in at all. Ton of seniors on that team that had an incredible year.
And not spreading around some New York teams to me is just crazy. There were about a million different options for the Mid-Atlantic, New England and New York as usual. But they have a 23-17 4 seed in a 7 team regional? I swear they should outsource to us.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:24 am
Torturing Spence is my first thought - just getting the bid on and double checking. I left Auguatana off the first time and inserted in error an other school. Three teams from the CCIW - who thought.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:25 am
d3baseballfan: That’s what it says on the main site. 4 seed, playing Hope in the first round.
6-team regional
May 14th, 2007 at 3:27 am
Cortland has to be loving the NY region field…….Manhattanville a 4 seed?
How does Trinity even make the tourney
May 14th, 2007 at 3:27 am
Spence whats your name and when did you play for us.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:27 am
Hey easy…I put the smiley on there for a reason. I was kidding.
Btw, you have the Mideast as Strongsville out front and Wooster on the link. I did really well on picking teh sites…not so much on the teams! lol
May 14th, 2007 at 3:33 am
d3baseball fan: Shawn Spence is my name, and I didn’t play for Marietta. I was the student manager for the Ol Man in the mid 90s, then later worked for the Times a couple of stretches. I grew up west of Marietta too, so I’ve been around them a while; a friend of our family’s daughter was friends with Debbie Lazorik when they were students at Marietta.
In all I was around from 1995 through 2003 with a couple years that I was working in Virginia (covering the Dixie Conference among other things). I still come back for some alumni stuff and support the program any way I can (being not rich, money unfortunately it’s one of them lol).
Are you a current player? Alum? Just wondering.
May 14th, 2007 at 3:44 am
And with that, I’m calling it a night. Thanks for all the great discussion everyone and all of the work Jim and Pat (and the guest bracketologist and whoever else I don’t know about).
Good luck to all in the tournament that aren’t playing Marietta
May 14th, 2007 at 4:48 am
St. Scholastoca finished 36-6 ( 29-5 iin-reigon) not 26-6.
May 14th, 2007 at 7:30 am
Actually, even though Trinity being in is an absolute joke, they could make it tough for Cortland. Their 1-2 is as good as anyone, and Decker will probably try to save Kiely for Cortland. With Kiely on the mound, Trinity can beat anyone. Ithaca is the team that got the biggest gift. They could find themselves in the winner’s bracket finals against Trinity’s #3, who is extremely beatable.
May 14th, 2007 at 9:10 am
My final scorecard was 17 of 20 at-large correct.
I missed on Washington and Jefferson, Wartburg and should not have reached over Marietta to pick Rockford.
Three from the CCIW? Yep, Augie made it.
What has to become my rule #2…”Never underestimate the power of the NESCAC.” Trinity came off the table sooner than I thought.
May 14th, 2007 at 9:55 am
well when you get a phone call it helps
May 14th, 2007 at 11:14 am
Trinity getting a bid is a joke…..I dont care how many games you win playing that schedule. You dont make your conference tourney you don’t go to the NCAA’s. That should be a rule they consider in years to come when selecting the field. They will not beat Cortland
May 14th, 2007 at 11:19 am
to all the teams who worked hard and deserved it more or less you gotta let the kids decide on the field not politics
May 14th, 2007 at 11:21 am
ralph just a question do you know if there was any discussion on ramapo, because i see on the front of d3 to vote on the team that should have gotten in and they are not on there, was there any discussion on ramapo or did they just sit there for 12 rounds after kean
May 14th, 2007 at 12:34 pm
crazy, I think that may be the case.
After the tourney, I will go back and look at the last team’s into the tourney.
I know that there is “wailing and gnashing of teeth”, but now that I can focus on the 8-10 teams that were the last in and then next up, I can look at how close Ramapo, and Rhodes, and Millsaps, and W&J, and Rockford, and Wartburg, etc. were to making the tourney.
May 15th, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Ralph, that would be very interesting to compare what we see as the last 4 or 5 in vs all the teams that anyone has complained about. To see how those teams were viewed by the committee…
While we all vent a little… it is a really difficult task and we have to all respect the committee members for doing the best job possible.
