My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of the players, the bus driver and his wife, the young me left behind and the ones that survived! I also have a son that plays D3 college baseball. My heart grieves for all of you. God Bless!

For those interested, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s day-after coverage was nothing short of excellent. The frontpage headline was “Chaos on I-85″ and they devoted something like 5 pages in their A section to coverage. There were a couple of slipups I noticed but that’s going to happen, overall it was terrific coverage.

The sad thing is, if I’m an administrator and I have kids in a charter bus with two drivers, I’m thinking I’ve done well by them and they should be safer than the alternative. Does anyone still travel in vans? I worry about them even more.
